A plain, brass hilted D-guard stirrup hilted saber with leather grip, and a plain blade, and a bird‚Äôs head pommel, as carried by members of mounted militia units. The blade has a single fuller along the back of the blade. There is no scabbard. Dimensions: 32.25 inches long overall, with the blade being 28 inches long. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance.    The D-guard is bent downward. The blade was period sharpened, and has a number of nicks along the edge.
