A very nice and interesting German ersatz bayonet from WWI, complete with sheath and leather frog. The grip is sheet steel. The blade is unmarked. The sheath is steel with the typical WWI German frog button. The sheath is painted black. The frog is brown leather. Size: The bayonet in sheath is 17 3/4 inches long. With the frog it is 18 1/2 inches long. The blade is 12 1/4 inches. Processing and shipping in the Continental United States is $45.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Good condition. The sheath is missing much of its paint. The blade shows signs of having been cleaned. The frog was once dyed black, but the dye is almost entirely gone.
