Large die-struck breast eagle of hollow-back tombac construction with gilted finish. The spread-wing eagle clutches a wreath enclosing a swastika, emblematic of the NSDAP. Reverse fitted with a long horizontal pin-back assembly; unmarked. This form was worn on the uniforms of NSDAP Political Leaders at various ranks, with the gilt finish denoting higher-level appointments. Measuring nearly 4 inches across, this is a larger format than the standard breast eagles, giving it a more imposing presence on the uniform.
Dimensions: 1.40 x 3.75 in.
