Bronze owl cast by Joseph L. Boulton (1896-1981) with excellent patina, fine casting, and signed on the back. The cat piggy bank is cast iron painted white, and has a distinctly disapproving look on its face. The pottery owl is by Takahashi Imports of San Francisco, dates from the 1960s, and is painted in yellow and green, with droopy eyes.
Sizes: The Boulton owl is very heavy, and is 10 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches across. The cast iron cat is 10 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches across at the base. The Takahashi owl is 9 1/2 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide at the base.
Condition
All are in excellent condition. The cat's paint is a little worn, but generally excellent.
