The rifle seems to have been assembled of different parts, and has been well shortened, with the forend within an inch of the shorter barrel. The slot for the cleaning rod is present, but there is no cleaning rod. The gun has been refinished, removing most of the original markings. The gun has 1884 style rifle sights.
