Great condition W49 bowie knife by Western Cutlery with factory polish to blade, very nice polished wood grips, brass guard, tan leather sheath with an aluminum ring and rivets. The marks are faint but clear enough to make out Western and the letter H. This was probably a Vietnam era knife returned to the factory for a polishing, and aside from the faint marks it is excellent plus. Size: 14 1/2 inches long with a 9 3/8 inch blade. Western Cutlery Boulder Colo. U.S.A. is stamped on the underside of the brass guard of this very nice W49 bowie knife, with a tan leather sheath that also has aluminum rivets and ring. Size: 15 3/8 inches long with a 9 1/4 inch blade. Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $30.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.

Condition

Both knifes have excellent blades. The first knife is overall excellent plus, only the sheath showing a little wear, and with some verdigris on the guard. The second knife has an excellent blade, and the grip and guard are very good plus. The sheath shows a little wear.
