Very large bowie style knife with interesting aluminum grip and cross guard. It has a very thing bowie style blade, possibly made from a machete or a saw. The finish is somewhat rough, but it has beautiful balance, and is an entirely practical fighting and utility knife, probably made in-theater in WWII. It is in a modern brown leather sheath. Size: 14 1/2 inches long, with a 9 inch blade.

Condition
Both knives have simpler aspects, but both exhibit interesting craftsmanship. The first knife is an extremely fine knife with a crusde finish. The second knife appears to be older, and could pass for a 19th century knife in a different sheath, and with the point reshaped. It has some old rust stains.
