A very large non-traditional bowie knife by J. Jacobs, of Oregon. The knife has a heavy 12 inch blade marked Jacobs Custom that is mint and razor sharp. The grip is unusual, and is probably made from an African antelope horn, with brass mounts. The tang as well as the grip are shaped with finger grooves with brass rivets. The knife is 17 7/8 inches long overall, with a 12 inch blade that is 2 inches wide. It has no sheath.
Massive damascus blade bowie knife with damascus guard as well. The knife has the look and feel of a custom knife. The grip is stag. The guard is "S" shaped steel, and both the guard and the blade have a very fine maiden's hair damascus pattern on them. The name "Pat Garrett" is engraved on the blade. The knife is in a black leather sheath. Size: 17 inches long with a 12 inch blade that is 1 7/8 inches wide.
