Two Civil War era pistols, representative of the types that many enlisted men carried as "back-ups" especially in the early part of the Cicil War: A Belgian made single shot boxlock percussion pistol, with octagonal barrel in .45 caliber, and wooden grip with some handsome shell-like carvings on the grip at the frame. A small Belgian made pinfire revolver in .30 caliber, complete with ejection rod and folding trigger, with extensive Belgian proof marks. Discounts given on combined lot shipping. The single shot pistol is very good plus, in excellent working condition. It has some minor pitting in front of the percussion vent. The pinfire revolver is in very good condition on its exterior, but is not currently functioning. The hammer does not hold on cock, the cylinder does not rotate by moving the double-action trigger. Traces of bright blue remain on the frame and hammer.
