An Austrian Model 1798 flintlock Dragoon pistol in ..70 caliber, as used throughout the Napoleonic Wars. These have loger barrels than most of their contemporaries from other countries, and were issued without attached ramrods. The pistol is unmarked as is appropriate, with a full-length walnut stock and brass mounts.

Condition
Very good condition overall with a patina of light rust on the barrel. The stock is missing a small section in front of the lock plate, and there is a crack ahead of that on the forend. There is another small crack on the other side of the forend, but neither crack affects the guns structure or solidity.
