A pair of decorated porcelain shaving mugs, each exhibiting distinctive color fields and hand-applied gilt and floral embellishment. The first, inscribed Franklin Leonard, features a clean white body wrapped with gold stylized foliage and red floral accents, set atop an uncommon emerald-green foot; its underside bears the Will & Finck Co., 820 Market St., San Francisco retailer mark. The second, marked A. Pedrini, displays a deep oxblood ground with vivid multicolor pansies and a diagonal white name ribbon in black Old English lettering, accompanied by its original shaving brush. This example carries the Deckelman Bros. Barber Supplies, San Francisco underside mark. Together they represent two richly executed West Coast–supplied personalized mugs of the late 19th to early 20th century barbershop tradition.Dimensions approx.: Standard sizeThis lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA.
