Three similar Western Cutlery classic Vietnam era designed large bowie knives, each in a fine leather sheath, each with dirty and slightly rusty blade that will clean well. A fine Western bowie with W49 and Western U.S.A. stamped into the underside of the brass guard. It is in a handsome leather sheath with cross-hatchings tooled into it. The blade is gray overall. Size: 14 1/2 inches long with a 9 3/8 inch long blade. Another fine Western Cutlery bowie knife marked W49, Western, U.S.A., with the letter code G. It has a very handsome wooden grip, brass guard, and extremely dirty blade that should clean very well. It i in its original sheath. Size: 14 1/2 inches long with a 9 1/8 inch blade. A very nice Western Cutlery bowie knife marked Western U.S.A. W 49 H. It is in a nice leather sheath with some tooling on it. The third knife has been badly cleaned probably with a wire brush, and should have its original finish restored. The hilts of all three are excellent, although there is some verdigris on two of the guards. The sheaths all appear to be about new and excellent.
