Three German Steins w/ Raised Decoration, Pewter Lids

Three fine German steins with raised decoration, German sayings, and pewter lids. A tall stein depicting a woman speaking with a hunter. She is seated by fence; he is standing with his rifle. There is another woman peering from around a tree. The motto translates as "Now I go to the well but I do not drink, for there I seek my beloved, but do not find her." The pewter lid is held to the ceramic handle with a band topped by a fancy finial. The bottom is stamped Germany, 3/4 L, and 1545. Size: 10 3/8 inches tall. The second stein also has raised decorations, and shows a couple dancing. Flanking them are the two individuals separate and looking sad. The ornate ceramic handle is topped with a decorative pewter finial, and the lid rises to a point, with bands of decoration.The base is stamped 578. Size: 10 inches tall. The third stein is shorter and bulbous, also with raised decoration and a motto. It shows a couple in traditional Bavarian costume dancing. The motto in German translates, " With dancing and love, worries (or sorrows) are banished." The ceramic handle is shaped to look like wood, and is topped with a pewter finial connected to a decorative but functional pewter lid. Size: 8 inches tall. Condition

The first stein has a repair to the juncture between the hinge and the lid. The body of the stein is excellent. The second stein has a small horizontal tear on the lid adjacent to the hinge. The body of the stein is excellent. The third stein is about mint.
