Two similar German steins with raised decoration of scenes inside beer halls, one with musicians, the other with a bar maid and a matron speaking to two men, one of whom is playing a guitar, the other eating. Both have mottoes in German, and are marked .5 L or 1/2 L.. The ceramic handles are topped with ornate hinge finials. The lids are similar in style, although one is larger.
