An extremely attractive Smith & Wesson Model 2 single action spur trigger revolver, engraved, nickel plated, with mother-of-pearl grips. This is the second model of this pistol, serial number 25092, with a 3 1/4 inch barrel. It was probably made about 1880. The engraving may be Smith & Wesson factory engraving, but further research will be needed to confirm that. The mother-of-pearl grips have the initials “RPK” engraved on the left hand grip.
Size: 8 3/8 inches long overall, with a 3 ¼ inch barrel.
Shipping: $35.00.
Condition
Condition: Overall excellent condition, with a tight, crisp action. The engraving on the barrel and cylinder show some wear, probably from a holster. The engraving on the frame is sharp and clear. The grips are excellent. The bore is slightly dark, but has excellent rifling.
