A framed oil on canvas painting titled, "Umbrellas to Men," by artist J.J. Gerard (1770-1837). It is signed by the artist in paint in the bottom right corner. There is an old information label pasted on the backside of the frame that notes the title and artist with his birth and death dates.

Overall good condition considering its age. There is surface wear visible across the frame, as well as craquelure across the painting. No further wear or restoration is visible under blacklight. A modern corrugated plastic board was cut to size and drilled into the back of the frame for reinforcement. Please see photos.
