Behind the eagle rises the stylized flaring wings of the winged hussars, a strong national military symbol. Made of white metal alloy with darkened patina. The reverse is hollow (not filled), fitted with a vertical wire attachment. Likely a wartime field-made or simplified manufacture example, used as a cap insignia by Polish Armed Forces in Exile.
