A very nice outside hammer double barreled Parker Bros. 12 gauge shotgun, serial number 74298, made in 1892. It has fine damascus barrels, and is probably a Grade 1. It has a pistol grip butt stock with checkering, and s small steel plate in the butt cap. It has front-action locks and fairly simple engraving. There is a white metal escutcheon plate on the wrist. The gun has a fine hard plastic butt plate with the Parker Brothers name and a hunting dog on it.
Size: 46 1/2 inches long overall, with 30 inch barrels.
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
Condition
Very good condition overall, but a light film of surface rust on the metal parts. The butt stock has a number of dents and scratches, along with a small gouge on the left side of the wrist. There is a nick in the metal at the base of the left hand barrel, but it is entirely superficial. The action is excellent, and the bores are a little dirty, but very good.
