This is a very interesting watch by the Knickerbocker Watch Co. of New York. The company was founded in 1890 and ceased doing business in 1930, selling inexpensive watches with either Swiss of other American made watch movements in cases from various sources. This one has a 7 jewel movement with no serial number visible, but the movement has Double Roller and Safety Barrel engraved on it, and the case is by the Illinois Watch Case Company in Elgin. The watch has a gold toned face, a seconds dial,with Arabic numerals, and is in good working order. The case is plain.
