A framed oil on canvas landscape painting by French artist Guy Cambier (1923-2008). The image depicts a quiet forest interior with tall trees framing a narrow path. The darker foreground gradually opens toward a softly illuminated distant evening sky. It is signed by the artist in the bottom right corner. There is also an old framer's label affixed verso from "The Art Nook" in Denver, Colorado, which operated from the early to mid 20th-century. The painting is housed under glazing in a period-style frame with wide, textured gilt inner molding and a dark carved outer border.
