The knife appears to have been polished, as the stampings are somewhat faint, but it is well done (16.5-inches long overall, with an 11.75-inch blade). Hygrade Cutlery, Solingen, large bowie knife with stacked leather grip, brass guard and pommel, in a leather sheath. The knife is very similar to the previous knife, but has not been over-cleaned (16.5-inches long, with a 12.5-inch blade). Solingen bowie knife in the classic Old West style, with stag grips, a brass "S" shaped guard, and the classic bowie style blade with a long clipped point. It is in a somewhat crude hand made leather sheath with rawhide fringe. The ricasso is stamped: “Edge Mark, Solingen, Germany," and 447 (15-inches long, with a 10-inch blade).
