An extremely fine 20th century made Kentucky Long Rifle of classic style, made by Robbins and dated 1972 on the inside of the lock. The rifle has an octagonal barrel, full-length tiger striped stock, brass patch box, silver star inlay on the carved cheek rest, and a silver escutcheon plate on the wrist, and is an overall outstanding example of the Kentucky/ Pennsylvania flintlock long rifle. It is .45 caliber, with deep rifling. The trigger is screw set.
