A handsome Colt double barreled outside hammer shotgun in 10 gauge, with damascus barrels, and a doll's head on the breech, serial number 18714, manufactured in 1885. The lock plates have "Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co." on them, nd the rib between the barrels has the same with Hartford. Ct. U.S.A. There is an oval escutcheon plate on the bottom of the butt. The metal on the gun is very good, with some light surface rust and some patches of darker rust on the left hand side. The butt stock is fair, with wear and some minor marks.
