An early 20th century carved cane featuring a horn handle shaped as a stylized horse hoof, complete with incised fetlock band and six metal studs inset into the base to mimic horseshoe nails. The natural grain and polish of the horn highlight the hoof motif, while a gilt metal collar with foliate detail connects the handle to a dark hardwood shaft. The cane terminates in a light-toned horn ferrule.
