Superb small bronze by Arthur Waagen (German, 1833-1898) of a whippet turning in mid-stride to look at a butterfly. This was one of Waagen's most famous sculptures. The statue is patinatedd in dark bronze.
Size: 7 inches tall by 8 inches wide.
Excellent.The bronze patina is untouched.
