Antique Visayan Filipino Talibon bolo. Also spelled talibong, taribong, or talebong, these knives were traditionally used by the Visayans of the Philippines, particularly in the islands of the Eastern Visayas and Central Visayas. This example has a wood scabbard held together with rattan and a hanging string with a Spanish maravedis coin on the end, dating it back to the 19th century.

Dimensions: 13" blade, 18.25" long overall.

Condition

Blade has small pits overall and a couple chips on edge. Scabbard has piece broken off near end. Pleas see photos.
