The ikul or ikula is a traditional ceremonial knife or short sword featuring blunt, stout leaf shaped blades and proportionally small handles. Used by the Kuba people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. That being said, this particular example has a much more effective looking, streamline shape than normal and is quite sharp. This is a rare ikula, as it was clearly made for practical use.

Dimensions: 13.25" long overall, 8.75" blade, 2.5" at widest point.
