A very interesting letter opener with good steel blade in a brass holder that tilts, presumably to hold papers. The hilt and scabbard are ornately cast brass mounted on a brass base. German made Renaissance style scissors in sheath for office use with ornate brass handles and sheath. The blades are steel marked Germany. Brass "Keep Out" sign with ornate edges and holes for screws. Reed and Barton silver plated pewter picture frame with glass with ornate curled edges. Small mirror in gilt brass with beveled edges and stand. Porcelain miniature painting of Enlightenment era lady and gentleman in ornate pewter plated brass frame, made in Japan.
