Two very interesting scenes of sea shells painted on very old appearing silk velvet pieces in matching heavy gilt frames. One is of a single shell with a background of leaves resembling baby's breath. The other is a different shell at a different angle, on a similar background. The cloth appears to be very old silk velvet in a pale off-white color.
Size: 13 inches by 9 1/2 for the painted material. The frames are 21 tall by 18 inches.
Condition
The cloth is somewhat worn and faded, but the painting is excellent.
