The Kampilan Is the traditional fighting long sword of the Moros of Mindanao Island, Philippines. Particularly the Maguindano and the Maranao. The general design is believed to be from Malay, variants can be found in nearly every country of maritime Southeast Asia. The Moro Kampilan has its own unique hilt design and generally a longer blade.
Dimensions: 38" long overall, 28.5" blade.

Condition
Blade has staining and a few spots of oxidation, a few very small nicks on blade edge, tip bent. Wood guard is split. Please see photos.
