With this lot you get two items. A WW2 US Navy Bureau of Ships Mark 1 Mod 0 mounted compass made by C. G. Conn LTD, Elkhart, Indiana. These small compasses were fitted to lifeboats. The other item in the lot is a patriotic celluloid cover photo album from the Spanish-American War. The album features a side profile of the USS Maine with an image of admiral Charles Dwight Sigsbee in the upper left. Sigsbee was captaining the ship when it exploded. Album has 15 pages with room for 42 pictures total, has 7 in it.

Compass has some wear, seems to work. Album missing the piece the closing clasp hooks onto, various wear and tears on pages. Partly split at inside hinge. Please see photos
