Thick carved wood saddle crown or saddle panel from the Yakan people of Basilan Island just north of the Sulu archipelago. They are one of the Islamic Moro tribes of the Philippines. They have a strong fabric weaving and horsemanship culture.

This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $50.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Condition

Has a split on the right side however it does not go all the way through the wood to the other side.
