A Washoe Native American "Degikup" basket, possibly made by Louisa "Datsolalee" Keyser (1829-1925) around 1900. This style is famously known for its spherical shape, on a flat base with a small opening, and intricate decorative patterns. This form of basketry was created by Keyser in the late 1800s.
