Very nice US Model 1917 Trench Bolo, this one dated 1918, made by Plumb, St. Louis, and marked U.S. Mod. 1917 C.T., complete in its original webbing covered wooden sheath with wooden grips, and leather throat and sheath tip. This version does not have the clip to keep it secured in its sheath. Size: 15 3/4 inches overall in the sheath, the knife being 15 inches long with a 10 1/4 inch blade. The blade is dirty, and has been sharpened during its period of issue.
