Two very nice WWI US edged weapons without sheaths, both Models of 1917:
A US M1917 Remington bayonet dated 1918, with excellent US Ordnance marks, and a slightly faint Remington mark. It has the original walnut grips. It is missing the locking button and spring.Size: 21 3/4 inches long overall with a 17 inch blade.
A Plumb, St. Louis manufactured US Model 1917 Trench Bolo, dated 1918. It was made without the spring clip to lock it into the sheath. Size: 14 7/8 inches long overall with a 10 1/4 inch blade.

Condition
The bayonet is complete other than its locking mechanism, which is entirely mid=ssing. The blade has been rusted, but not pitted. The grips are excellent with the number "1" stamped in them and filled in with white. The bolo is about excellent, with some dirt, but appearing unissued. Both items are lacking their sheaths.
