U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor Rifle, Cadet Rifle length, serial number 210265. The breech is clearly marked Model 1884. The serial number is partially obscured. The ramrod is missing, as is the forend cap. The rifle has the 1884 sight improvements.
Size: 45 inches long overall, with 26 inch barrel.
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $65.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
Condition: Very good, with an excellent bore. There are traces of case hardening on the breech block. The blue on the barrel has been touched up irregularly with cold blue. The stock has been sanded so no cartouches are visible but is otherwise very good. The ramrod and forend cap are missing.
