U.S. Model 1906 light cavalry saber with scabbard. Made by Ames Sword Co, Dated 1906. The M1906 was the last curved saber model produced for the US Cavalry. Ricasso marked: "A.S.Co (Flaming Bomb) 1906". The reverse ricasso is marked "U.S over J.H.C.", the inspector at Ames at that time.
Dimensions: 43.5" long overall, 34.75" blade.
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $80.00. Condition
Blade very fine with a few small blemishes. Scabbard has stained metal and several dents. Please see photos.
