Two large and very fine Japanese made ceramic chargers/ platters each different, but of similar size, each standing on matched carved teak stands. The first is bronze colored with ochre rims, covered with flying cranes. There is a Japanese chop on the reverse. Size: 16 inches across. The second platter is also Japanese, and has Japan stamped on the reverse. It has two brightly colored birds standing on branches of a flowering bush. It has a black background and a white rim. The stands are very handsome with uopper edges that hold the rims of the platters securely. Size: 15 5/8 inches across. Excellent.
