The sheath is basket weave patterned black leather. The blade is stamped CASE XX USA 1836 on the ricasso, and is identical to the bowie knives Case made for servicemen during WWII and Vietnam. Size: 14 1/2 inches with a 9 1/2 inch blade. A similar Case XX bowie knife in a presentation style velvet flocked box with Jim Bowie on the box top. The blade is stamped CASE XX USA BOWIE on the ricasso. The knife has a white plastic grip and gold plated guard, and brown basket weave patterned sheath.
