Two Western Cutlery bowie knives of the classic style popular during the Vietnam War:
A bowie knife marked Western Bowie U.S.A. The wooden grips are slightly darker than usually seen. The blade is mint, with a brass cross guard, and usual leather sheath with a ring in the frog to place the knife lower on the blade, with a tie-down hole at the tip of the sheath (14.5-inches overall with a 9-inch blade).
Western Cutlery, Boulder Colo. USA stamped blade classic bowie knife, with the previous owner's name nicely engraved on the blade: A.C. Storz. The blade is stamped as described, with "BOWIE" on the other side of the ricasso. It has the usual wooden grips, although they are somewhat better shaped than most. It has a brass cross guard, and is in a tan leather sheath (14.25-inches long overall with the blade 9.25-inches).
