A lot consisting of two unframed, but matted woodblock prints from the series titled The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido by Japanese artist Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858). Both have the artwork and artist's information written underneath the image, beneath the mats. These prints are specifically:
- Station No. 29, Mitsuke
- Dimensions: (woodblock) 9h x 13w inches, (mat) 14h x 20w inches
- Station No. 44, Yokkaichi
- Dimensions: (woodblock) 9h x 13w inches, (mat) 14h x 20w inches
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $65.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Condition
Overall good condition. Expected age wear visible across both, however no major wear or restoration visible across either under blacklight. There is some wear visible on the mats. Please see photos.
