Two traditional style commemorative modern Bowie knives comprising of:
Simon Kenton's Ride 1785 Commemorative Bowie Knife by Bulldog Brand, Solingen, Germany, hand forged of surgical steel, a very handsome traditional styled bowie knife with a portrait of Solomon Kenton and his dates, 1755-1836. There is also a scene of Kenton fighting mounted Indians etched on the blade. The knife has fine stag grips, and German silver mounts. It is in a black leather sheath (15.25-inches overall with a 10-inch blade).
Battle of Appomatox Commemorative Bowie Knife & Sheath, with portraits of Grant and Lee, Union and Confederate flags, and April 9, 1865 etched on the blade. The knife is mint in its box, with no maker's name on it. It strongly resembles a Case bowie, but is a little fancier in fittings and finish. It is apparently by Frost Cutlery (14-inches long overall with a 9-inch blade).
Processing and shipping within the continental U.S. $35.00 plus 1.5% replacement cost insurance. Discounts given on combined lot shipping.
