A lot consisting of two paintings on canvas by German artist Georg Schmitz (1851-1917). The first dated 1905 depicts elk grazing in a field and is signed in the bottom right corner. The second dated 1906 depicts cows resting in a field and is also signed in the bottom right corner.

Fair. Both canvas are warped with craquelure across the paint and holes in the upper right quadrants. Please see photos.
