A lot consisting of two Hopi-Tewa vases all signed on the underside by James G. Nampeyo (1958-2019), grandson of Fannie Nampeyo and great grandson of Nampeyo of Hano, known for his incorporation of traditional Hopi motifs and ancient Sikyatki designs. The larger is a vase with a low shoulder and narrow opening decorated by stylized bird and feather imagery. The smaller is a round, globular vase with a short neck decorated by patchwork-like panels featuring iconic Hopi-Tewa imagery.
