A lot consisting of two Hopi-Tewa vases
all
signed on the underside by James G. Nampeyo (1958-2019), grandson of Fannie Nampeyo and great grandson of Nampeyo of Hano, known for his incorporation of traditional Hopi motifs and ancient Sikyatki designs.
The larger is a vase with a low shoulder and narrow opening decorated by stylized bird and feather imagery.
The smaller is a round, globular vase with a short neck decorated by patchwork-like panels featuring iconic Hopi-Tewa imagery.
Dimensions: (larger) approx. 7.25-inches tall with a 5-inch diameter at its widest point, (smaller) 6-inches tall with a 6-inch diameter at its widest point
