Both baskets are polychrome Native American California in origin. The small basket is likely Maidu and is 3.25" x 2.75" x 1.75." The lidded basket is more difficult to decern. It is 4.5" x 4.5" x 2.5." It appears to be Central or Norther California in origin. Potentially Chukchansi or Tlingit.
This lot may be picked up free of charge from our facilities in Sacramento, CA. Processing and shipping within the Continental US $50.00. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Discounts usually given on combined lot shipping.
Condition
The Small Maidu basket is in very good condition. The lidded basket is in fair condition with some light loss and breakage. Please see photos.
