Tonita Pena (1893-1949) Group of Three Gouache Paintings. Pena was San Ildefonso Pueblo Day School educated and part of the watercolor movement along with Fred Kabotie, Awa Tsireh, and Oqwa Pi. Her murals were commissioned by the society of independent artists for the Chicago world’s fair in 1933. She was also an art instructor at the Santa Fe and Albuquerque Indian schools. Dimensions: 18” x 13.5” Cochita Pueblo Buffalo Dance Gouache Painting on paper. 6 5/8” x 4.5” cards Processing and shipping within the Continental US $55. All FedEx packages are sent with Direct Signature Required and insured at full replacement value for a fee of 1.5% of the purchase price, unless buyer accepts complete liability in writing. Condition

One of the cards is very good. The second card is good, with a small stain visible verso only. The large 18” x 13.5” is protected by shrink wrap and backed by board. Not examined outside of shrink wrap.
