Tonita Pena (1893-1949) Group of Three Gouache Paintings. Pena was San Ildefonso Pueblo Day School educated and part of the watercolor movement along with Fred Kabotie, Awa Tsireh, and Oqwa Pi. Her murals were commissioned by the society of independent artists for the Chicago world’s fair in 1933. She was also an art instructor at the Santa Fe and Albuquerque Indian schools.

Condition
One of the cards is very good. The second card is good, with a small stain visible verso only. The large 18†x 13.5†is protected by shrink wrap and backed by board. Not examined outside of shrink wrap.
