The guard has an extension from the pommel that descends over the hand grip. The blade is long and heavy, representative of the Civil War era D-guard bowie knife. Both hilt and blade appear to be hand made. The sheath is black leather with a saltire resembling a Confederate flag at the throat. Exceptional craftsmanship in a period style. Size: 15 inches long overall, with a 10 inch blade.

Condition
All three knives are very good and better. The first knife has a browned blade that appears excellent under the finish. The second knife would be excellent, but has two small stains on the blade from old rust. The D-guard is excellent.
