Three traditional style bowie knives, comprising of:
A very handsome large bowie knife with “BOWIE” etched on the massive blade, and stamped Olsen Knives, Solingen, Germany on the ricasso. The back of the blade has a serrated section resembling that on a Scottish dirk, intended for breaking bones to extract the marrow. The grip is stag and it has a brass guard. It is in a brown leather sheath with a stag’s head on it (15.25-inches overall with a 10-inch blade).
Another very handsome large bowie knife with “ORIGINAL BOWIE KNIFE” etched on the massive blade, and stamped Olsen Knives, Solingen, Germany on the ricasso. The other side of the blade has “4800 9”” on it. The back of the blade has a serrated section resembling that on a Scottish dirk, intended for breaking bones to extract the marrow. The grip is wooden, shaped for the fingers, and it has a large brass guard and pommel. The sheath is brown leather with a stag’s head on it (16-inches long overall with a 9-inch blade).
A large, heavy and very handsome large Solingen bowie knife in a handsome very traditional style with polished stag grips, and “BOWIE” on the blade. The ricasso is stamped G.C. CO. Germany and Solingen 447. The guard is brass, and the grips have three brass rivets The sheath is black and brown tooled leather with a cross hatched pattern and a ring mounted belt hanger (15.5-inches long overall with a 10-inch blade).

Condition
Great. The first knife has some minor stainning on the blade and few tiny black pits along the edge. The second has some minor verdigris on the guard. Please see photos.
