Three double mounted knife sets:
A possibly custom made set of two knives in one sheath, both with stag grips and brass guards, with mint condition hollow-ground single edged blades. The blades have a fine diamond pattern polished into their flats. They are in a very fine heavy brown leather sheath with tooling, bound with rawhide lacing, with antler toggles and white metal rivets. Both knives have a fine quality of finish, and although unmarked, are clearly from a better maker (The larger knife is 11-inches overall with a 6-inch blade. The smaller knife is 7.25-inches overall with a 3-inch blade).
A double mounted set of Finnish Pukka knives with birchwood grips and brass mounts in a slender tan leather sheath. The smaller knive is engraved "Made in Finland." Both knives have Finnish lion stickers on their grips. (The larger knife is 7.5-inches overall with a 3.75-inch blade. The smaller knife is 4.5-inches overall with a 2.25-inch blade).
A set of William Rodgers "Cut My Way" Birmingham, England made knives. The knives have stacked leather grips, brass guards, and slender single edged blades with long false edges. Both knives have the Sheffield England with "Depend On" in a diamond etched on their blades, and both are stamped William Rodgers Cut My Way (The larger knife is 8.75-inches overall with a 5-inch blade. The smaller knife is 5.75-inches overall with a 3-inch blade).
Condition
Great. The pukka knife sheath shows minor wear, and there is a little staining on the high carbon blades. The sheath for the William Rodgers knives is very worn, although the blade of the larger knife is about mint. Please see photos.
