Signed etched blade bowie knife by a maker whose name is illegibly etched on the ricasso, but with a handsome eagle over mountains on the blade, with a detailed feather on the other side. It has stag grips and a brass guard, and is in a very fine basket weave patterned sheath that has the name Jim Frost on the back (12-inches long overall and an 8-inch blade). A very fine Solingen made bowie knife and sheath, with stag grips and a German silver guard. The blade is very interesting, with a heavy back. It has “Bowie” etched on it., as well as a trademark surrounded by “Solingen Germany” and “Hand Forged. It is in a dark green leather sheath (13.25-inches overall with an 8.5-inch blade).
